Volunteer reader applications for Issue 9 are now closed. Please check back in December for Issue 10.
How does it work?
- Submit an application by filling out the form below. You decide how many stories you would like to read.
- We are looking for a limited number of volunteers – we will reach out to let you know whether you were selected as a reader for this issue.
- We will send you the stories by email. For each story you will let us know whether you think it should move on to the second round of reading. Several readers (including the editors) will be assigned to each story.
- You will receive the stories the week of July 7th, 2026. The deadline for submitting the recommendations for your assigned stories is August 15th, 2026.
